Grilled Romaine Caprese Salad

This grilled twist on a classic Caprese salad brings smoky flavor and crisp-tender texture to
Earthbound Farm Organic Romaine Hearts. Perfect for summer grilling season, each halved
romaine becomes a charred canvas for juicy tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, fresh basil, and a
tangy-sweet balsamic drizzle.


Ingredients

● 2 Earthbound Farm Organic Romaine Hearts, halved lengthwise
● 1 tbsp olive oil
● Salt and freshly cracked black pepper
● 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
● 8 oz fresh mozzarella, torn or sliced
● ¼ cup fresh basil, cut into thin strips
● 2 tbsp balsamic glaze or reduction


Directions

1. Heat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

2.Brush cut sides of romaine halves with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

3. Place romaine halves cut-side down on the grill. Cook for 2–3 minutes until lightly charred and warmed through, then remove from grill.

4. Transfer grilled romaine to a serving platter or individual plates. Top each with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella.

5. Sprinkle basil strips over the top, then drizzle generously with balsamic glaze.

6. Enjoy immediately while warm and melty—or at room temp as a side dish.
