Spicy Celery Salt Margaritas

Never thought about adding celery to your guac and margaritas? Give it a spin with this simple and delicious recipe. The celery adds fresh flavor and crunch to the guacamole and a little something something to the margaritas without altering too much those favorite treats you’ve come to love.


Earthbound Farm organic celery stalks, for garnish

2 limes, wedged

4 tablespoons celery salt

½ English cucumber, sliced

4 ounces good quality silver tequila

2 ounces fresh Lime juice

1 ½ ounce Agave syrup

Club soda (we like Topo Chico)

Lime wedges and sliced jalapeno, for garnish


Make the Margaritas

Rub the rim of 2 tall cocktail glasses with lime and coat with celery salt. Muddle cucumber in a cocktail shaker. Add 4 ounces of tequila, 2 ounces fresh lime juice, and 1 1/2 ounces agave syrup to the shaker with the muddled cucumber.  Fill with ice cubes. Cover and shake until outside of shaker is frosty. Divide into 2 prepared glasses and top with club soda. Garnish with celery stick, lime wedge and sliced jalapeno.
