Ingredients

  • FOR THE MINT SYRUP
  • 1 cup organic sugar
  • 1 cup organic mint leaves, roughly chopped
  • FOR THE MOCHA
  • 1/2 ounce mint syrup
  • 1/2 ounce chocolate syrup
  • 2 shots espresso
  • 8 ounces oat milk

Our Carmel Valley Farm Stand makes this most delicious and refreshing take on a morning mocha, featuring mint syrup made with mint grown right in our herb garden. Try it for yourself with this recipe or, better still, come for a visit and order one up for yourself.

To make the mint syrup: Bring sugar and one cup of water to a boil. Remove from heat, add mint and let steep 15 minutes then strain. Keep your unused mint syrup in the refrigerator.
To make the mocha: combine chocolate and mint syrups in a mug that will hold 12 ounces. Add espresso. Steam the oat milk to 140 dgrees farenheit and add to your mug. Enjoy!
