Nothing quite like a perfect pork slider! Sweet and sassy, this version ads some crunch with our organic broccoli slaw. Don’t skip the simple pickled onion — it’s serious next level taste magic and a great example of how one seemingly small accent can elevate the everyday.
Make the Pork
Mix the onion, ketchup, cider vinegar, brown sugar, tomato paste, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in a slow cooker. Add pork and cover. Cook for 8 hours on low.
Make the Broccoli Slaw
In a medium bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, olive oil and agave. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add Earthbound Farm Broccoli Slaw. Toss to coat. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
Make the Pickled Onions
Place sliced onion in a medium bowl and cover with boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes. Drain and return to bowl. Add juice, vinegar, and salt. Stir to blend. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
Assemble the Sliders
When the pork is done, use two forks and shred the pork. Toss the pork in remaining sauce. Toast the slider buns and add pulled pork to each bun. Top with broccoli slaw and pickled onions.
