Why eating healthy is important to me? With the number of bad products/foods out there, and having 2 kids of my own, it is my utmost goal to make sure that my family eats well, and gets the nourishment and nutrition through organic, healthy and nutritious meals. That means making sure that they are eating lots of fruits and vegetables on a daily basis, and getting other good fats and proteins from trusted sources. My biggest health tip as a parent would be, make sure you start your kids from when they are babies, to eat fruits and vegetables, flavor it with spices to make it more interesting. If they do not eat it in the first try, they will in the second, third or the fourth try, and don’t give up! Cause they will eventually turn around!
Hi there! My name is Remy Park and I am a kombucha addict, serial snacker, yoga and fitness fanatic, wellness coach, healthy recipe developer and photographer living in my vibrant hometown, New York City. I was born and raised in the city until the age of 7 and have since moved to and lived in 4 different countries and 8 cities overseas. I am ethnically Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese and speak 6 languages. You can usually find me at the farmer’s markets, playing with cats, crafting superfood recipes, hiking and appreciating nature and by the ocean whenever possible. My passions lie in photography, holistic healing, nutrition and all things veganism.
Stacie Hassing and Jessica Beacom are the Registered Dietitian Nutritionists behind The Real Food Dietitians website and blog. They create gluten-free recipes that are designed to be big on taste and short on ingredients, so you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time doing what you love. You can find more recipes as well as nutrition, health and meal planning tips on their blog at The Real Food Dietitians.
Hi there, I'm Marie. I'm a food photographer, stylist, recipe developer, creative consultant, and the creator of the food blog, 8th and lake. Based in San Francisco, California my work is inspired by seasonal produce – bringing plants to the center of the plate – the beauty and intensity of the Pacific Coast, seaside excursions, light and shadow.
My name is Karly and I prefer margaritas and sitting in the shade to piña coladas and getting caught in the rain. I believe in all things in moderation, and that a person is healthiest when they are happy. A balanced diet should always be inclusive, and a food diary is my favorite method for keeping my health goals on track!
