Making you own flavored vinegars is easy, fun and saves money. Specialty vinegars are often very expensive, yet the ingredients aren't. Earthbound Farm Organic Strawberries (hulled and quartered)
golden balsamic or champagne vinegar
Place the berries and sugar in the bowl of a food processor or blender and process until the mixture is finely chopped. Add the vinegar to the bowl or blender and let the mixture stand at room temperature for at least an hour, or up to 3 hours.
Strain the vinegar through a fine mesh sieve into a clean jar. Don’t press on the solids or you’ll push the pulp into the vinegar and end up with a cloudy liquid. The vinegar will keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
